I ordered two large BYO poke bowls from here today and am really disappointed with the food we received. The large bowls are the same size as the regular bowls. The salmon was brown and smelled off and the spicy tuna was a puree of a tiny bit of tuna and what appears to be a lot of kani or something else. When I called the restaurant to ask about the tuna the employee who I spoke to referred to it as being mashed together. Nowhere does it say that this is a tuna “mash”. The tuna used to come cut into chunks like the salmon. I do not recommend ordering from here. The quality has really slipped over the years.

The Reel love bowl is terrible, 75% rice. I wouldn’t categorise this as a poke bowl. I expected more than just rice and onion and scallions to complement the salmon. Lacked vegetables and flavour. I had to add my own soy sauce as it was so dry! I will not return here.

I ordered two bowls from Proven Poke in Montclair. I’ve ordered here for years never a bad bowl. One of them came out great — fresh ingredients and exactly what I asked for. Unfortunately, the second bowl was completely wrong included ingredients I didn’t order and didn’t include any fish at all, which was really disappointing. I requested them to mix my poke as well and they couldn’t because there was nothing to mix. For the price, I expected more consistency and attention to detail. Don’t think I will be returning and taking my business elsewhere, sad. I will have to break out some frozen food.

I didn't order the $6.99 Ramen deal, but I'll try it next time! Great new Poke Place on Church Street !!! I love poke bowls & thrilled this is in a convenient location with reasonable prices !!!

Was convinced to try the new Tacos by the server before ordering a bowl. The shrimp tempura taco had great flavor and nice crunch. The chicken teriyaki taco was even better with some of the best mango salsa I’ve ever had.
